To hire a car in Fiji, the normal rules apply, that is, a Fiji driver's licence or an international one that states your age. Some rental companies want to see drivers 21 or older while others will not rent vehicles to anyone under the age of 25.

There are various vehicle rental and hire companies with a variety of price categories. These include Avis, Budget, Hertz, Thrifty Rentals, Anytime Rentals, Carpenters, Central, Dove, Europcar, Kenns, Khans, Lovely, Quality, Satellite and Sharmas.

Ask for pick-up and drop-offs services at airports or major hotels. Cars, vans and 4WDs are all available. Please note: All companies will ask for a security deposit that is returned to you when the vehicle is.
