If you have the opportunity to view Fiji’s natural beauty by helicopter, it will be 20 to 35 minutes of exhilaration. You can choose from various routes and prices. One thing’s for sure though - whether you’re soaring over Denarau Island, across Nadi Bay to Sabeto Hills or through waterfall-veiled gorges - you will see a Fiji that not many people get to experience. Not many people appreciate the mountain of the ‘Sleeping Giant’ that guards Nadi until they see it by air.
Enjoy scenic aerial views on helicopter rides
Helicopter rides start from US$55 per person with some tour companies offering special deals throughout the year.
Island Hoppers is one helicopter service that has been operating for more than 30 years in Fiji and its pilots are well-versed with the islands. Make a few phone calls and see if they can develop a scenic tour of your choice through mountain highlands or along the islands offshore. It will be well worth it.
