Jazz lover's delight every Tuesday nights at Suva's Down Under Bar. Suva's contemporary Jazz ensemble, "OVERTIME" a great band which has a fixed tuesday night engagement at Downunder, Suva's only non-smoking club. The band is made up of three guitarists, none other then Fiji's very own, the legendary Tom Mawi & two other truly repspected guitarists Pita Driti & Samu Waqa. On keyboard is Sami Mawi who plays a prominent role, & rythm section drivers, bassist Filimoni Kama Waqa Jnr, drummer Marika 'max' Latianara and Marvin Waqa on percussions. The Bands vocalists, Annie Mawi, Kathleen Waqa & features regular guest artists. Overtime has a role in reviving contemporary jazz in a live set-up & bringing awareness of it to youths.

Every Tuesday nights from 8pm onwards at Down Under Bar, Suva.

   I reckon you guys could really lift the spirit of jazz and change your band or rotate your jazz bands because from what i have seen and heard at the Pearl,Tom Mawi is totally BORING!! How about sppicing it up with Robert Verma another very talented and lifeful jazz muso.
