Vatulele Island Resort
Vatulele (pronounced ‘Vah-too-lay-lay’), is located on a spectacular island in the Fiji group.Vatulele is generally acknowledged as one of the most outstanding 'bare-foot' luxury resorts in the world, and is well known for its unique weddings as well as amazing scuba diving.
Location
Western side of this Viti Levu lies Nadi (pronounced 'Nandy'), just six hours' flying time south-west of Hawaii or four hours north-east of Sydney, Australia.
Vatulele is 25 minutes by light aircraft (or helicopter) from Nadi International Airport.
Accommodation
Some bures are situated further away from the central bure than others. As all the bures are set in jungle, Vatulele Island Resort will not suit travelers who feel more comfortable in a "bug free" sterile environment. Rather it suits the more adventurous traveler who wants to "get the sand between your toes". The resort particularly suits outgoing people who are able to enjoy the company of others, in addition to privacy.
Dining
Vatulele is well recognised for its food, ranging from Californian to Thai, Japanese, Austral/Asian and Indian - in fact, any style that suits our glorious tropical climate and laid back lifestyle.
Activities
Every kind of water-based activities, tennis, visit important archaeological sites, swim in underground caves or arrange intimate picnics on a secluded beach away from the resort - or even reserve your own "Robinson Crusoe" island.
