Tiliva Resort
Tiliva Resort is not a typical holiday destination. The resort is set in eighteen acres with six deluxe bures nestled in the trees offering privacy and comfort.
Location
Tiliva is located on the island of Kadavu which is Fiji's fourth largest island, located approximately 45 miles south of the capital city, Suva.
Accommodation
The guest accommodation is self contained chalets (bures) having typical Fijian style high ceilings with full en-suite facilities, ceiling fans and private veranda. The bures are serviced on a daily basis.
Dining
Guests can enjoy the freshly picked tropical fruit and native vegetables from their kitchen garden with supplies supplemented from the village and enjoy the local island cuisine. The water is fresh spring water that is delicious and safe to drink. All meals are fully included in the cost of your stay. There is also a fully licensed bar. Dining is in the main dining room or on the veranda but if you prefer a private dinner, this can be served on the veranda of your bure. The have weekly lovos, where the food is wrapped in banana leaves and cooed underground. With fresh fish, fresh vegetables and herbs, they offer the best of Fijian and western cuisine.
Activities
Scuba diving kayaking, snorkeling trekking village visits waterfall trips, picnics guided tour with the local medicine man of the indigenous coastal trees explaining both past and present uses (there are over thirty medicinal trees at the resort) guided walk through the rainforest to the waterfall from where you may see the Kadavu Parrot, Kadavu Fantail and the Kadavu Honeyeater, all endemic to Kadavu.
