Sandy Point Beach Cottages
If you would like a relaxing holiday in sunny Fiji, but want to be free from hotel routine, set meal times, then Sandy Point is the place for you. The cottages are right on the beach so you can swim, snorkel and explore the reef and are situated in seven acres of grounds. The cottages are well away from the highway and are very quite and private.
Accommodation
There are four double/triple cottages and one family cottage that sleeps five (5 adults or 2 adults/3 children). All cottages are well maintained with tiled floors, gas stove, regular fridge, solar hot water and ceiling fans. There is a separate en-suite with shower and hanging space for clothes. Each cottage has a ground level front veranda. Single beds can be arranged as doubles. All cottages face the South Pacific and are set back from a sea wall which has steps to access a white coral sand beach. All cottages are fully equipped and have a television. Morning maid service is available except on Sundays. The family cottage has two bedrooms and two ensuites and has a separate access door from the end bedroom.
Activities
The resort has a fresh water swimming pool. Diving is available from either the Outrigger or the Fijian Resort with courtesy transfers.
Amenities
There are several restaurants in the Korotogo area from Chinese to Table d'hôte, some offering good local cuisine as well as the dining facilities available at the Outrigger. For the more adventure some, there are several resorts located along the Coral Coast, all accessible by local transport or rental car. The Cottages are located only ten minutes from Sigatoka town where there is a Fijian market plus duty free shops, restaurants and grocery shops.
