Otto & Fanny's Place
Otto & Fanny's Place is located on Tavewa Island in the heart of the Yasawa Islands. Tavewa Island overlooks the world famous Blue Lagoon, which filmed two Hollywood movies of the same name.
Accommodation
The resort has 5 bures (double/twin), 3 traditional & 2 concrete & galvanized iron roofs which can have an extra bed and a dorm that sleeps 12 persons. Bures are provided with fans & mosquito nets. Electricity is from 06:00 - 23:00 hrs. Per day. It is also a good idea to bring a torch (flashlight). Guests are also requested to bring plenty of sunscreen and insect repellent and also snorkeling gear (if possible).
Dining
All meals are served buffet style and are communal (everyone is seated together). Lovo (earth oven) is done on request and is charged on a per head basis (10 persons minimum @F$30.00, entertainment inclusive).
Activities
Volleyball, swimming, fishing, hiking, wind surfing or just relax on the beach with a book. For a small fee, you can snorkel, deep sea fish, take day trips to other islands, obi, kayak, shell marketing, meke or visit the famous Yasawa-I-Lau limestone caves. Fanny & Otto's is also where Westside Water sports is based for those who wish to scuba dive. The Limestone caves are steeped in Legend and were made famous by Brooke Shields in the movie "Blue Lagoon". Inside the caves, you can swim or simply marvel at the magnificence of the main cavern.
