Getting to Nananu Island Lodge for that tropical Fiji island vacation is easy. We have a daily shuttle bus direct from Nadi direct to Ellington Wharf, (the departure point for Nananu-I-Ra Island), where we meet you and take you to Nananu Island Lodge in one of our boats. Welcome to Dive Nananu - Stunning Fiji Scuba diving and snorkeling at some of the Fiji Island’s best dive sites around Nananu I Ra Island and RakiRaki. We also have onsite a professional diving school, offering a range Scuba diving courses.
The unspoilt reefs around and Nananu-I-Ra Island and RakiRaki are world renowned for great Scuba diving and offer the ultimate in Fiji dive sites amongst some of the world’s most beautiful coral reefs and abundant marine life. Visibility ranges from 15–60m depending on the weather and the sea averages a delicious 28†C most of the year. Nananu I Ra Island and RakiRaki are located off the northern tip of Viti Levu, Fiji's main island (see the map below), only a 2 hour drive north of Nadi.
You can see vast hard and soft corals gardens, a myriad of colourful tropical reef fish, huge sea fans, clams, massive coral bommies, lionfish, nudibranches, snakes, octopus, schools of tuna ... etc etc. And it’s quite likely you’ll come across some of the biggies – sharks, mantas, rays, turtles, dolphins, and seasonally, whales.
There’s big coral reef walls and spectacular drop-offs, deep swim-throughs, the unexplored outer reefs in the Bligh Waters, and even a wreck to be explored!
