Marau Vale Villa
Marau Vale is a spacious beachfront home situated on 2+ acres of meticulously maintained grounds and lush tropical gardens - This spectacular home offers almost every amenity imaginable [two large decks and patios with truly stunning ocean views, floors of Italian tile, imported bathroom fixtures, etc.]
Location
Marau Vale is located at Matei on the island of Taveuni (Fiji’s third largest island - also called the ’Garden Island’).
Accommodation
The living room is comfortably furnished in an assortment of rattan furniture. Throughout the house, rooms are decorated with many pieces of artwork purchased in such places as Indonesia, Australia, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Kingdom of Tonga, Cook Islands, Papua New Guinea, Central and South America, Mexico, East & Southern Africa, Egypt, Thailand, Malaysia and of course Fiji. A real favorite here at Marau Vale is the magnificent 100-sq. ft. rock enclosed outdoor shower overlooking the gardens and ocean while offering complete privacy. The master bedroom has one king-sized bed; the second bedroom offers one double bed and one twin bed, and the third small bedroom [recommended for children] is outfitted with two bunk beds. All the king-sized and double- sized beds are fitted with pure Egyptian cotton sheets. While the master and second bedrooms share one beautiful bathroom, the third bedroom has its own half-bath.
Dining
The kitchen modern and fully-equipped with such items as a custom-built eight-foot long stainless counter with double sinks, high quality Cusinart cookware, imported dishware and flatware, microwave oven, blender, coffee maker, two new large refrigerator- freezers and much, much more. Daily living however in Fiji finds us mostly out-of-doors, and this is where Marau Vale truly shines. The 1500 sq. ft. of decks and patio offer majestic ocean views and are outfitted with wonderfully comfortable furnishings along with a huge BBQ area. The gardens here offer fresh papaya, banana, mango, coconuts and pineapple to consume, and magnificently colorful flower-filled tropical gardens to gaze upon.
