The House of Bamboo is fully self contained luxury waterfront accommodation . Perched high above Coconut Palms the House of Bamboo takes in amazing views of Savusavu Bay, the mountains beyond and the reef below. Here Mother Nature is the Star Attraction. You can wander down to the waters edge or just laze around in your own private pool.
Location
Located on the island of Vanua Levu and Approx 6 kms from Savusavu township in an area known as Lesiaceva. Savusavu can be accessed either by air of ferry service. The locals know this location as the Cousteau Road as the Jean Michelle Cousteau resort is only a stones throw away. Ninety nine stairs wind up the hill to the House of Bamboo. Not only will you enjoy a total escape you may also leave fitter than when you arrived. Directly opposite the tranquil blue waters of Savusavu Bay.
Accommodation
Living room, with Lounge and Dining area. Flatscreen television DVD player and CD/Stereo with a library of DVD’s and CD’s for your enjoyment.
Fully equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities. Large covered decks and thatched shade bures with hammock and day bed. Sundecks and sun loungers surround your own private pool.
Dining
Fully equipped kitchen with gas cooktop and electric oven. Full compliment of china, glassware, pots, pans and cooking utensils. Rice cooker, microwave, full sized fridge and freezer, toaster, kettle, juicer etc….Outdoor Gas BBQ.

Activities
Swimming,snorkeling,beachcombing or kayaking.Other activities can also be arranged with independent operators who will provide scuba diving, biking, hiking, sailing and fishing charters. An in house massage can also be organised so that you can truly relax and unwind.
