Bibi's Hideaway
At Bibi's, there are 6 guesthouse-style cottages built on gentle slopes of the beautiful north west coast of Taveuni. This is a mere five minute car ride from the airport. Theres peaceful gardens with lovely ovean views and a track which leads to Prince Charles beach with its white sand backed by tropical trees.
Location
You can take a 1 hour 20mins flight from Nadi Airport, plus 5 minutes road transfer.
Accommodation
Twin Cottage - twin beds and suitable for single travellers with a shared bathroom.
Top cottage - located at the highest point of the plantation and has a double bed with studio style kitchette and en-suite bathroom (cold water only).
Honeymoon bure - more spacious with a large veranda, located on the lower slopes with ocean views through the coconut trees.
Family cottages - colonial style single storey wooden houses, each with two bedrooms, kitchen and lounge (all cold water showers only). All cottages have screen windows and mosquito nets over the beds.
Dining
Despite its isolation, you still have the choice of several independent restaurants just 10-minutes walk away in Matei settlement and at the point.
Activities
Your local hosts can organize all tours around Taveuni from private 4WD van tours to snorkelling, bush walks and scuba diving to the Rainbow Reef which is just 20-minutes by boat.
