Nausori Town is situated 19 kilometres out of Suva.

History - In its infancy during the 1900’s, Nausori town emerged and evolved out of what was then Fiji's second sugar mill. This now accommodates the Rewa Rice Mill and the Nausori International Airport.

In 1931, Nausori was incorporated as a ‘town’ and has been one of Fiji’s fastest growing towns ever since. Its governed by Town Council, with members elected for a three-year term.
