- Fiji is a good tourist destination and can be a popular choice for holiday seekers! Doesn't mean we have a domestic issue; we're subjects of warnings on 'their' travel advisories?

- I recommend Levuka to your next stop over. It's a quite place. Nice surroundings and lots of fresh air. Same applies to hotels in the Wester Side, especially in Nadi and Sigatoka. You know there is no place like Fiji whe it comes to tourism. I have been to Singapore, Australia and parts of South East Asia including India. What i have seen in these places are state of the art facilities with posh surroundings with the latest technology. The moment tourists step put of their hotels, they are greeted with lots of air pollution, extremely higher noise levels and the environment just takes away the spirit of relaxation. You dont find these distractions in Fiji - with white sandy beaches, less people, more spaces, fresh air, and a calm and peaceful surrounding. Fiji has got the ingredients, however a little bit of polishing is needed here and there.

- We returned to Melbourne Australia on Monday 13/08/07 at 23:00hrs and temp of 4C. What a shock after such beautiful hot days and warm evenings during the previous 5 days at the Sofitel Resort & Spa on Denarau Island. This was our 2nd visit to your wonderful country of welcoming people and beautiful landscape. 3 years ago we stayed at the Naviti Resort on the Coral Coast and feel that having the local villages nearby gave us a better impression of Fijian life. We will again tell all our Australian friends of the relaxing and restful "fiji time" we enjoyed and especially our daughter and son-in-law who intend visiting Fiji with their baby son next year. Perhaps we'll come with them too! Bula vinaka, Martin McL of Traralgon, Victoria Aust.
