There are 144 churches listed in Fiji's Yellow Pages, with 73 religious societies and 36 church and religious organisations. So yes, you could say that people in Fiji are somewhat religious.
With its multi-racial and multi-cultural make up, Fiji's religious make-up is a mix with significant numbers of followers of most major religions.
Throughout the country, you will find among other places of worship, Christian churches, Muslim mosques, Sikh and Hindu temples.

Visitors are often made welcome at Christian Sunday services. While some of the services are conducted in Fijian, the singing is generally well worth the visit.
With many weddings being conducted in Fiji these days as part of the honeymoon market, many hotels and resorts have built their own chapels on site to conduct such ceremonies. Others have services on the beach in whatever religion the couple chooses.
